Sound reduction installation for school office
Blounts Commercial Interiors recently completed a sound reduction installation within a local school office where sound transfer was occurring through a solid wall.
To address the issue, we installed Sorba wall panels in white with matching white trims. This finish was chosen to complement the recently decorated space and provided the added benefit of allowing the client to project directly onto the fabric surface.
Additional acoustic improvements included the installation of door seals and a drop-down seal at the door base to help reduce sound entering or escaping the room. Power and light switches were repositioned to suit the new wall depth, and the existing storage cupboard was retained, ensuring the space remained practical as well as functional.
