Blounts Commercial Interiors recently completed a mezzanine floor installation for a client in Lincolnshire, transforming their workshop space with a practical and well-designed storage solution.
The project involved the full supply and installation of a steel mezzanine floor, creating a large additional storage platform without the need to expand the building footprint. As part of the design, the client opted to introduce a green finish to the steelwork, adding a vibrant touch to the workspace while maintaining a clean and professional look.
Designed for functionality and safety
The mezzanine floor was carefully planned to maximise usability and ensure safe day-to-day operation. Key features of the installation included:
- Access stairs for safe and easy movement between levels
- A loading gate with wear plate to support regular use
- Toe boards to enhance safety and prevent items from falling
Every element was designed with both practicality and compliance in mind, ensuring the space works efficiently for the client’s ongoing operations.
Efficient installation with minimal disruption
From initial design through to installation, the project was delivered smoothly and professionally. The installation was completed over just three days, allowing the client to continue operating with minimal disruption.
The client was extremely pleased with both the planning process and the finished result, gaining valuable additional storage space within their existing workshop.
A safety-first approach
All work was carried out in line with current health and safety standards, with careful attention given to the working environment throughout the build.
At Blounts Commercial Interiors, safety is a key priority on every project, alongside delivering reliable, high-quality workmanship.
